Humanized PBMC mice are used as in vivo models to study and evaluate compounds for infectious diseases and graft rejection research. This model has the fastest engraftment rate using adult peripheral blood mononuclear cells and enables short-term studies requiring a strong effector and memory T cell function. Created with adult peripheral blood mononuclear cells, engrafting quickly and enabling short-term studies requiring mature human T cells.
hu-PBMC-NSG MHC I/II Double Knockout
Humanized PBMC-NSG MHC I/II Double Knockout mouse model has a significantly decreased xeno-GvHD relative to the PBMC humanized NSG mouse model, making it more suitable for immuno-oncology studies. This model is available humanized with pre-characterized PBMC donors for human immune cell engraftment kinetics. May be best used with cell lines or PDX models with reliable growth (PMID30383447)

Female NSG™ mice are injected with human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (hu-PBMCs). Mice can be shipped to the customer within days of engraftment. Engraftment (principally T cells) can increase over time, but it is limited by the development of graft-versus-host disease.
Study-ready cohorts of hu-PBMC humanized mice are provided upon request, either for shipment to your institution or for enrollment in customized drug efficacy studies executed by our In Vivo Services scientists.

We distribute NSG™ mice under an agreement with the NIH. NSG™ mice are available to non-profit research institutions under an MTA. Companies and for profit entities require a license prior to shipping. Many companies already have a license that includes engrafted NSG™ mice.
